This is a group for anyone with intermediate to advance skills in performing violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, woodwinds and brass instruments, in the interest of reading, rehearsing and performing Chamber music of any time period.

This group was started to provide a place for acoustic instrument musicians of all playing levels to meet, jam, collaborate and have fun playing with others. The hope is to have a convenient location and time for regular biweekly jams. Another goal is to find a venue to host a regular open-mic.

The DC Classical Chamber Music Players' Meetup group is a collection of classical musicians interested in playing chamber music for fun. While good music is the goal, the emphasis here is on fun and enjoyment! As of 1/29/12, we have 204 members, covering 14+ different instruments, at varying skill levels.
