LACMP is a place for adult musicians (particularly string players) to play in small musical ensembles. All levels are welcome from beginner to professional.  Most of the meet ups are free, but some are classes for which we charge tuition. Most meet ups take place at the Metzler Violin Shop.

The purpose of this group is to provide an opportunity for players  in Orange County, of varying levels of experience, to play various combinations of chamber music, largely depending on the instruments and level of members who join. The group is mostly meant to be just for fun, but could also lead to public performances when appropriate.
